Watching and Waiting

Written by Lord Reynard, added 09 October 2013 @ 10:56

Entry in Timeline: 2013, 10, 10

Stormborn hid not far from her companion, the two-legged fox called Barra. She hated seeing him in danger but she loved and trusted him so she would do as he asked as much as it pained her. The green ones waved their weapons around and squealed like swine drawing a low growl unbidden from her throat. She watched them surround her companion and walk them through the brush to a nearby game trail, as soon as they were out of earshot she rose from her hiding place, shrugged off the brush and twigs and made her way through the woods parallel to the group. After two hour of slow going they came to a cleared area surrounding an enormous stone structure, though she didn't know what it was she could sense all the masses of life within. 'its a city Stormborn stay hidden, if you can find a way in unseen do it if you can't wait till I call you, stay safe my friend.' Barra's message came to her from a distance with a whine she laid down and nestled into the brush, and waited. She watched as her companion walked down the hillside and into the imposing structure of alabaster stone.
