The Sorceress
by Jade DarvisonPM MemberMember Profile on Fri, 4 Dec 2009 00:49

Jade Darvison turns his head to face the little fairy on his shoulder. "I believe I have been nuzzled." He smiles and continues to pet her hair. He had never heard a fairy purr before yet the effect was not unpleasant. "Would you want to be human?"

Infiniti says, She continued to nuzzle the finger that pat her and smiled shyly. Could she become human, or at least bigger? She brought her head back some and looked at him with just the movement of her eyes. She looked away a moment. 'How? I-I dont know' Her voice seemed small as she spoke, she was obviously a little shy from both the nuzzling and the purring and from being so close. She nuzzled the finger that had pat her and just smiled some and purred a bit more. She liked to purr though even if she were to be human could she be her favorite tiny size again? Questions that seemed a bit unanswered.

Jade Darvison says, His expression becoming more serious he pats her shoulder. "You do somewhere inside you, it's not hard or difficult. All it takes is courage and true desire. Not very different from ordinairy fairy magic. It's not unlike letting go... though don't be silly and believe you cannot change back at any time. On other worlds that might not be as easy, in fact though... if you were able to become human you could meet alot more people, play in places you would not be able to go as a fairy. Humans can go anywhere."

Infiniti says, She looked away a moment. "I...I cant." She said in a soft voice. "Not alone" She looked back to him. She would have to have a very good reason. She needed to want it, but she wasnt sure. The only good thing of being bigger at least would be she could snuggle people twice her size. She liked that thought some. Especially with this man now in front of her. She blushed a bit at the thought. "How, I do it. How?" She tilted her head some. She did need some help, She didnt know if her wings would go or stay but she hoped they would stay if she did this. She groaned hearing it would take twice the energy to become small again, but she was willing to become a bigger size. But just what would she look like then. She sighed in a dream what she could make herself look like.

Jade Darvison says, He shrugs. "Sure you can, all you have to do is face that which you could not, that thing which led you into taking on the form of a fairy. You'll be doing such as a fairy... so whatever it is, will be looked as a fairy looks at such things. In facing that you'll die metaphorically and be able to be whatever you want. Just like a true fairy." Being extremely gentle he kisses her cheek. Even though it ends up being most of her head. "You've got all the help you need... and more. All you have to do is remember and honor your choice, honor this fairy form which has protected you. Oh that and wiggle alot."

Infiniti says, She tilted her head some. "Wiggle?" She just got really confused. She had not known much of the past, and all the other fairys. Why had she been a fairy, was it her mother that was one? Had to be. She loved her mother. Hearing the word die she shuddered. She blushed some as he kissed her forehead. She giggled absently and smiled sweetly. "I try now?" Maybe if she was bigger the straight thoughts she was always having would come out right in words and she would not have to sound like a neanderthal. She had it in her, maybe....a charm could help her. She shrugged it was worth a shot. She had honored this form, but, she wanted something new, something else, something that did separate her from the rest. She did want to become bigger but she would find a way to keep her wings. There was no doubt that she loved flying. "Wings, I keep them?" She tilted her head some in question. She wondered if he knew. Maybe if she just pictured what she wanted herself to look like she could do it. She had the strength, she had to be able to do it. With the flattery of this man, she wanted to do it.

Jade Darvison He chuckles at her mentioning of keeping her wings. In truth he did not know how her form would change. Such was completely up to the truths she would face. Who she had been before she was either born or became a fairy. Though certainly he felt that this fairy on his shoulder had been in the realms a long time. She certainly had other incarnations of herself in her past. "In the words of a very wise frog, do not try, do, put your entire self forward. Find it inside you and let it glow light like a lighting bug and discover all the secrets you've hidden away from yourself. Then it should be easy, the transformation will happen outside as it happens inside."

Infiniti says, The wisdom he spoke, though from a frog, had really kicked it off as she left his shoulder with a nod. What had she been in a past life anyhow. She did ponder the thought of her minds true history. She would land standing in the middle of the floor. It was cold wood beneath her bare feet. She shivered some. She would think a tune would help, She sang, loud and bright. She kept singing, and she concentrated. Who was she, what was she. She remembered what she said about glowing and light. And beads of glowing balls would round her small form, getting bigger as she did. Her voice gaining depth, not as high pitched as it once was. She had at least an image in mind what she would think she looked like but what was it, just a bigger version of a fairy. Or an elf with wings. She didnt know but she kept that escalating tune. Her hair no longer short, it grew out right there full and gained a darker pink color. Even her clothes changed. Something interestingly more revealing. Was she some sort of seductress?

Infiniti says, Her body not full size yet as she kept getting taller. Was her true form really this big. She would more than likely be afraid of heights from now on. She wasnt done, she didnt know what was left as she kept singing and the glowing got brighter. What else was there. What was she. She had no idea. She just knew the image. Her ears were still pointed, and she still had wings, but what did it mean. Was she destined to be a winged being. Or was it just what she wanted, maybe she was just an elf, and her wings were added with her song. That would be it, she so deeply wanted her wings so she kept them at least. But maybe she was just an elf. And elf with a whole new race.

Jade Darvison removing his hat he bows from the middle. "M'lady sorceress, a pleasure to make your aquaintice in another of your forms." Reaching into a pocket he pulls out a necklace which seems to brighten the entire room. Dark brown gems circle it's circumference and a large ruby heart dangles upon the end. Upon the sides of the heart two small silvery white fairies hold the stone to the necklace. Holding the necklace high so that she can see it's shiny he asks, "I believe this is yours?" Then from another pocket he pulls out a black obsidian looking armband, set with appear to be diamonds and emeralds in the shape of leaves. Between the two emerald leaves a silver harp is set beneath a starry sky... with a single falling star. "This too I'm sure."

Infiniti says, She was a sorceress? She did not know Now though it was coming back to her. She graciously bowed her head for him to put on the necklace. It was bright, and most of all shiny. She grinned some. "I thought you said you did not have anything shiny" She said with a grin and rose a brow. Her tone deep but elegant. The words came out the way they were supposed to as she smiled softly. Her arm outstretched to receive the armband. "Now that I know what I am, what am I the sorceress of, my mind, you see, is still, fuzzy." She shook her head some, her long yet up and long hair pushing itself about, a feeling she would have to get used to of course. She looked up to him and past her long bangs she smiled softly and put her arm on his shoulder. "I thank you in advance for giving me the courage." Her voice was soft. The pieces of jewelry were more than likely significant to her past life, if only she could remember more. She winced a bit as she tried, and sighed some as she failed for the moment, focusing her gaze back upon the kind man

Jade Darvison says, Jests with her playfully, "Oh I had nothing shiny for a fairy." His old seasoned eyes assess her form from top to bottom. As she reaches for the armband he reminds her how to open it and then replace the pin to set it. As he does so he pulls other pins which certainly would serve well as lockpicks. Then there is a panel that opens on one side with a secret compartment with some goodies inside. Some decorative peices that turn for other purposes ect. His hands move quickly over all these things before he hands the arm band over. The necklace is certainly magic, yet magical attuned to her own present form... worthless to a fairy. "Sorceress of... seriously infiniti, you are no more sorceress then fairy, such things are just shapes we wear. Though being able to change shapes marks you as a sorceress yes. My point though is that even this is not akin to truth in who you really are. Your mind is fuzzy for a reason. Such reasons are your own." As she smiled at him under her long bangs he placed a hand instinctively to her hip. "Don't make me blush, we share and we help one another. It was not only me that gave you the courage. By the way, dear lady you look gorgeous."

Eris closed his eyes to try and feel out a fairy, he needed just one to start on his quest of killing the King and Queen but one must know the weakness of his or her enemy. He could feel one nearby and opened his eyes, the order made it clear that he was not to kill the fairy and he would follow orders, his onyx peice slightly glowed as someone from the order made contact with him.

"How goes the quest?" said a snaky voice.

Eris nodded knowing the man could feel his emotions

"Good, good remember it is important that you do not kill!"

Eris nodded again and moved forward intent on his target.

Eris looked at the man breifly before turning back, he never stopped walking. During his training he was taught to never let anything hinder you from completeing a mission and to always keep at it until death, and henever talked so people usually gave him a wide bearth.

As aramael tries to talk in Eris's mind he is violently pushed out by the order of the dark ones, Eight dark wizards who were old and adept at black magic. Since the day they had Eris they darkly made it so only they entered his mind and commanded him. Eris walked on and gripped his sword they were nearing the fairy.

As he is mentally pushed back he chuckles and whispers to himself."Why hello again hmhm" He follows behind him silently and watches to see what he'll do when he gets to his objective.

Infiniti felt a cold chill. She could tell she was not the only one here. Her head swiveled about trying to see who had eyes on her. She looked back to he kind sir, a slight blush on her cheeks to his kind hearted compliments. "Why Jade, you do not look bad yourself." She gave him a sweet smile and leaned to kiss his warm cheek. "I fear though, that i should be moving along, Follow if you wish." She let her hand leave his cheek as she turned out the door of the elegant tavern. She would not mind he follow, she could use some protection, but she had to face this on her own.

Stepping out her good ears twitched to hear faint voices. Her eyes seeing those figures in the distance, the shine of the sword catching her eyes. She stopped dead in her tracks as she immediately darted another direction into some fields. Hoping the field could hide her some as she ducked and crawled. "Why, why have hey come for me. Im not even a tiny fair anymore. Why." She shook her head talking to her self some.

Her knees were dirty now and her hands were sore being on the ground for no more than three minutes. It was obvious they were after her, that man was to kind to do anything wrong. And there was no one else in the area so it HAD to be her. She stopped moving a moment hoping if she didnt make any noise that no one would see her. She stayed there her knees curled into her chest her chin buried deep on her knees. "Go away, Go away, Just go Away" She whispered to herself. A hint of fear being caught in her words. Why did she leave oh why.

She eyed the tavern that still stood, she could go back there, but what would have been the point, it was just a building and couldnt protect her from anything, but. You have to admit she still had her powers. She would have to go back some time to meet with her friend. She had grown quite find of him, the jewels would ever remind her of him.

The sorceress
by Jade Darvison on Tue, 15 Dec 2009 22:33

Jade smiles back at the sorceress and declines her offer to join in her departure instinctively. Turning about the tavern he is thankfull it is very late and only the half awake tender is in attendance. Taking a seat upon a bar stool he sets himself to the next stage in this play. Moments like this one always fascinated him as they developed. Breif times of reflection and nothing before something more important and riveting occurred. He could smell it in the wood burning on the fire. Hear it in the creaking of the roof and crackling of the fire. For some reason it reminded him of being on a ship out to sea. The calm before the storm.

By recognizing the calm and nervous tension of his enviroment he obliquely recognized the fairy hunters presence. Earlier in the day he had prepared himself for his presence here. The rituals had come to him in his waking dreams. He had merely performed them. His presence would be well masked from all others except for Infiniti. The bartenders half awake state indeed was due to his prepared current state.

Spinning on the bar stool he faced the door upon which Infiniti had left by. He knew her change had not fully completed and outside that door she would likely test herself in some fashion. She would have to face something he could not directly help her with. Still that did not prevent him from wishing her well and all the allies she may desire to be tested.

Closing his eyes he opened himself and slipped into double sight. Then let his eyes slowly open to watch the tavern around him become as glass, a transparent lense to view his surroundings. From here he could watch without being detected or noticed by the storm. He spied Infinity curled up in a feild hiding from what she sensed approaching. Staying true he did not look in the approaching figures direction. Her position was hilarious knowing the little he did about her... not ten feet beyond her position he noticed a chipmunk watching her. Then he notices the wandering figure which does not approach her.

He recognized the nervousness expressing itself in a gathering shockwave that would soon seen seek a taste of climax. A cold taste of murder was hanging in the air. Still watching he saw the chipmunk approach the girl cowering in the field. He imagined it made little chipmunky noises. Saw the tiny energy wavelengths of sound emit from the small creature. Reading the words of small beasts was always interesting. This one spoke.... "I'm scared, I'm scared, something is coming, I want to run away, yet that creature is more afraid then I am. I'm scared I'm scared I'm scared. Me brave chipmunk... help girl."

Jade had never come across such a dashing chipmunk before. This one must certainly be on the fast track to reincarnation to a different being.

Please do not eat the furniture!

Eris cleared the trees and came upon a tavern, upon seeing the building he stopped suddenly with sword in hand and sniffed the air and turned towards some fields. Nodding he continued moving and pulled out an enchanted chain with his left hand, the Order had promised when it came into contact with a fairy it would dampen thier powers.

[OOC my god jade a chipmunk XD *couldnt help but picture said imagery, makes an awwww face*]

Infiniti was quite scared herself, she had done nothing wrong. She kept her eyes pointed to the ground which soon came into view a rather tiny creature. A small chipmunk. She smiled softly, it almost took away the awkward fear she was having. She reached out a finger to stroke its fur, she noticed though the determination and bravery in the expression of the chipmunk. No matter how hard the little one may try though she feared he would not be able to help. "Little one, my apologies. If you can help, best to do it quick" She smiled sweetly and bent down to kiss the top of its forehead.

She listened in the distance though hearing the clank of chains. She looked down to the little chipmunk, "My dear, looks like i must go, care to follow?" She tilted her head some and started to bolt with a giggle taking a leap into the air, she would hope the little one had grabbed a foot or hopped on her back though if it did she wouldnt quite feel it. She grinned as her wings opened and closed carrying her in the air. Just to be snide she flew low just over the pale man who seemed to be hunting her. Facing her fears she made her landing at the top of the tavern. With the breeze blowing her hair about it felt so surreal. She took in a breath raising her arms and slowly dropping them revealing flaming whips in both hands. Her eyes opened to the pale man. Her blue eyes scanning him over. No doubt that chain he held could stop her some how.

She let her whip flow against the wind as she looked to both the men. She looked around hoping she would see that little brave chipmunk. She rose her gaze back to the men. "You want me, come get me" Her eyes narrowed as she stood there as high as she would get for now. She wasnt going to just run. She would fight, she would get away on her own terms. She would do her best and hope she came out the victor. Her eyes stayed glued on that chain that was also swinging in the breeze. She would wait, let him make the first move. And that is what she would do, atop the tavern was just....wait..

He smiles and winks at the fairy girl and he puts his hands behind his head as he leans on one foot, this wasn't his mission so he wouldn't interfere and he speaks into her mind."Might be best to run"

Eris looked at the fairy with cold dull eyes showing no surprise for her actions, the ones he hunted always tried to fight...well the brave ones tried but they always lost.

Eris was almost indestructible of course he had a weakness, his source of protection that was always with him was a target for any who wnted to stop him.

Grunting Eris stomped on the ground creating a fissure that snacked towards the tavern, cracking the ground threatening to make the place crumble. he cared not for the souls that were inside, only for the fairy who he was instructed to catch.

Wanting no innocents to be harmed he uses his elemental kinesis to shift the earth around slightly, redirecting the path of the fissure and it continues on its new path."No innocents should be harmed"
