(OOC: continued from http://www.fantasyrole.org/group_forum_view_post.asp?b=47&vo=0&page=1&view=to&p=6043)

Rath was waiting while Shena went outside. This was an interesting couple of days. He didn't know what to do anymore. He looked towards Fuge.

"We're in Relwen right? Do you want to go east, west, or south? They say there was a rebellion to the east. Krinsa is along the river to the south, and there were some odd people heading west."

Rath used his air skills to make sure there were still no threats nearby before looking at Fuge.

"What do you think?"

Shena walked back into the cave. She wondered what Lord Simon was doing at the moment. Whatever it was, she hoped he was doing it a long way away.

She sat on a smooth rock in the cave and listened, waiting for the men to make their plan.

When did I become the leader?
by fuge_spazzPM MemberMember Profile on Wed, 9 Aug 2006 04:36

Fuge stood there for a moment. "I don't know, perhaps we should let fate decide?" Fuge walked outside, grabbed a stick, and threw it into the air. Whichever way it landed, was the way he would go.

Fate is chance
by DartPM MemberMember Profile on Wed, 9 Aug 2006 17:00

As Fuge tosses the stick in the air Rath focuses and causes the stick to spin rapidly. Then he knocks it up higher with a gust of wind and leaves it to fate. He leaned against a rock and waited for the stick to fall.

South it is
by Shadow and LightPM MemberMember Profile on Sun, 13 Aug 2006 02:41

Shena watched as the stick fell to earth. It bounced once, then came to rest pointing south, away into the darkness of the trees.

She looked up at the two men. So they would be heading south. "What lies to the south?" Shena didn't know, for she had never travelled more than a few minutes outside the borders of Relwen.

South...
by fuge_spazzPM MemberMember Profile on Sun, 13 Aug 2006 02:50

Fuge shrugged. "Nothing too special I suppose."

Which was an outright lie. Fuge just didn't to express his feelings. That was the one direction he had hoped not to go. They would be heading towards his homeland. The exact opposite he wanted to go. Fate, it seems had a different idea for him.

"Come, gather what you need, we leave while the night is young."

Relief
by DartPM MemberMember Profile on Sun, 13 Aug 2006 14:02

Rath was relieved that it hadn't pointed west. His tribe was to the west, and he wasn't exactly welcome there. He went over and picked up the few things he had. Nomads learn to travel lightly and to live off of the land, and this one was no exception. He'd been south on several occasions, but decided to let the others discover things for themselves.

Rath was ready to set out. The whole time he cursed his curiosity. It was in fact a curse. Now he was travelling with these two, and couldn't return to his loner state for who knows how long...

Dangerous woods
by Shadow and LightPM MemberMember Profile on Mon, 14 Aug 2006 00:10

Shena was packed and ready. She stood silently by the mouth of the cave for a while. She was about to journey farther than her people had gone in hundreds of years.

Not to mention she didn't even have full abilities yet. She should be able to control water and earth. But when she did, she became exhausted. It was that she didn't know how to do these things, it was that she just wasn't strong enough.

But she knew she had to leave. Lord Simon would be back for her. He was angered at these stranger's interference.

Time
by fuge_spazzPM MemberMember Profile on Mon, 14 Aug 2006 00:17

As they walked Fuge kept checking the sky. So far it was still night. He stuck to the back sending Wolf to check the surroundings every now and again. As usuall he kept his hood up.

Into the shadows of the night
by DartPM MemberMember Profile on Mon, 14 Aug 2006 00:25

Rath walked along the woods near the two of them. Their previous encounter with the bandits had made him cautious. He was ready to draw his blade or his bow at all times, and would occasionally scout for people and animals. Most animals were harmless, and there was no one around. A simple question came to his mind. Why was he being so cautious? The thieves were nothing before.

Still night
by Shadow and LightPM MemberMember Profile on Mon, 14 Aug 2006 00:38

Shena shivered. All around her, the trees rustled in the cold wind. It was if they were watching her leave, leaving them unprotected. She definitely felt guilty.

But still she trodded on. Shena found herself walking close to Fuge. She took some comfort in the fact that he held a huge scythe. And the fact that he had just saved her life, or at least postponed her fate with Lord Simon, she added bitterly.

Well, she vowed to herself, the next time she saw the cursed man, she would be ready.

Comforting.
by fuge_spazzPM MemberMember Profile on Mon, 14 Aug 2006 00:57

As Fuge kept walking he could feel the unreast through the trees, he decided to help comfort her.

"Don't worry, nothing will happen to the forest. People may not understand the forest, but they still understand the need for it. If this 'Lord' even tries to burn down the forest or anything. He will be skinned alive. Don't worry, it will still be here when you get back." Fuge then patted her on the shoulder. "Still, try to stay in contact with your forest from time to time. If you don't know how, ill show you some time."

Every now and again he would look back up to the sky.

Sorceress, not true mage
by Shadow and LightPM MemberMember Profile on Mon, 14 Aug 2006 19:48

Shena looked at Fuge curiously. He seemed to know a lot about the forest, even though she was supposed to be the one who protected it and kept evil out of it.

But, she knew that she didn't like people prying into her own business, so she did not ask him any questions. She simply walked beside him. On the occasion that she looked over her shoulder at Rath, she could see that he had a look on concentration on his face as the wind suddenly picked up.

Shena smiled. So she wasn't the only one in the forest who could control elements after all. But, she reminded herself, she hadn't been born one. The forest had given her earth and water, making her the sorceress she was, so she wasn't a true mage.

morning.
by fuge_spazzPM MemberMember Profile on Mon, 14 Aug 2006 20:39

The wolf ran up to Fuge. It yipped at him and Fuge looked up to the sky. "It will be morning soon. I'm afraid I must take leave again."

He sighed "Keep going, I shall find you tonight." With that he rushed into the forest dissapearing into the shadows

RE: morning.

"I've always wondered where he went... Shifting from a day to a night schedule has to be strange."

He looked over at Shena for a moment.

"Feel free to get some sleep. We won't be seeing him for a while."
